A demon with a heart of stone,
A creature that cannot cry.
A being that is all alone.
With claws of steel and wings of bone,
I sit and dream unable to fly.

A twisted, bent and ugly crone,
If we met, you'd think it was a lie.

We are gentler than is let known,
And love to spread our wings and fly.

Upon our wings we've seen lands unknown,
A jealous man then plucks us from the sky.
